Your token never leaves your device.
The plugin uses your Figma personal access token to call the Figma REST API directly — from inside your browser. The token is stored only in session memory and is cleared when you close the plugin. Nothing is sent to any DesignOps Tools server. License verification goes through a minimal Cloudflare Worker that never sees your token.
